Omblos, the Mountain where the most flying occurs!

You can take off from Omblos at an altitude of 720 meters, co-ordinates UTM 34S Nx: 567174 y: 4225951 and you can fly with Southwest-West and Northwest winds, almost every day of the year!

 It is 10km away from the sea and just 15 minutes from Patra. Road Access is very good as 90% of the road is bitumen.

  The take off ground is covered with fine gravel and five parachutes can take off at the same time There is also a kiosk where athletes can rest.


 Whilst airborne the pilot has a view of the city of Patras, the Patraiko bay and Rio-Andirio Bridge. When the sky is clear you can see all the way to Messologi, Araxo and Kefalonia.


  The route taken is usually over the area of Krini but one can choose a cross country flight. The pilot can take routes: to the Northeast, -Panahaiko, and to the south, for Erymantho Skiada and Erymantho-Kalabryta.
