Kalavrita, Kerpini

The take off from Kerpini is across the town of Kalavrita, at an altitude of 1110 meters, co-ordinates UTM 34S N x: 596509-y: 4213148 and you can fly with East and North east winds almost every day off the year.

 Kerpini is a fifteen-minute drive from the town of Kalavrita. The take off area is of a good size with a good inclination and is covered with.lawn. .

 The landing area was found and first used during the PWC 2003 from foreign and Greek athletes who took part, overcoming the very strong northeast winds of the area. The following day, the Mayor of Kalavrita sent a grader to clean and repair the road. During that time the pilots (unofficially) carried out small and big tasks in the Voraiko valley.

The pilot is able to fly towards Mt Helmo and towards the city of Tripoli
